the hotel was not as described, with a cold shower and lackluster food choices. i was expecting an upgrade for my stay given it was so disappointing, but alas, no special treatment. the receptionist could have at least cracked a smile. I almost thought it was great, but couldn’t overlook these issues.

Comfortable room, pleasant staff, which made our stay enjoyable as we appreciated the great location just off the outer ring road, making it easy to explore nearby attractions like the beach and local eateries.

the family room had a private bathroom and comfortable beds along with free toiletries and a TV. enjoyed the indoor swimming pool and sauna. breakfast had a limited menu but the service was quick. a jacuzzi was nearby and gym facilities were available. overall, a decent stay with great amenities and helpful staff.

Perfect family getaway

Just spent a night in a family room. The kids loved the pool and we had a blast at the new padel tennis courts! Food was tasty, especially the in-room breakfast, but the room was a bit dated. the bar area could use some A/C. it got really hot at night!

the hotel was super clean and had a great atmosphere. staff were really friendly, especially the girl at reception who helped us with everything. We loved the family pool with bubbles. it was a hit with the kids! brekfast was nice, fresh fruit and pancakes were a win! also, the location is perfect for exploring waterford and nearby beaches.

The mattress in our room was pretty flimsy and the pillows were flat. the bar service could be faster. had to wait a while for our order.

my previous stay in waterford was decent, but this visit to woodlands blew me away with its exceptional spa facilities and beautiful, spacious rooms. the staff went out of their way to make my stay memorable, even remembering my preferences from last time, which added a personal touch. it truly felt like a relaxing getaway, exceeding all my expectations.

the woodlands had a lovely bar, where the staff were exceptionally welcoming and attentive. we enjoyed the clean, spacious family room, and the in-room breakfast was delicious! also, the pool staff provided goggles for the kids, which was a nice touch. 😊

Just spent a night in a family room. The room felt dated and the TV was ancient. It was a rough start since we were right next to the lift, so we heard a lot of noise. After mentioning it to reception, they moved us to a quieter room, which was a relief. It was cleaner and felt much better after that. The beds were comfy, but the overall decor needs a refreshing update.

The hotel features a surprisingly spacious leisure center that includes a kid-friendly pool, which was a highlight for families. The rooms offer decent space for relaxation, though some furnishings feel like they need an update.

Unfortunately, the shower in our room didn’t deliver hot water despite attempts to adjust the temperature. the chairs provided were mismatched for the table height, making for an awkward seating experience. The decor throughout the hotel appears dated, with dusty lamps and older furniture that need refreshing to match modern expectations. On one occasion, we noticed the bed sheets hadn’t been changed, and overall, the upkeep felt lacking, which could definitely use some improvement.

All good, fulfills its purpose. Comfortable room with efficient service.

Had a spacious room with a lovely waterfall shower! The location was perfect, being close to the hospital. Surprisingly enjoyed the pool, which was checked every two hours for safety.

But seriously, what's up with the breakfast? I mean, it was like the scrambled eggs had just graduated from an impersonation school!
